Block Damage in UFC 6 builds every time your guard absorbs a strike. It&#39;s not just a wear-down mechanic, it&#39;s a directional vulnerability system. Blocking many straight punches weakens your guard against round strikes, and vice versa. This creates a tactical game around what your opponent is absorbing and what that leaves them open to next.

- Block Damage accumulates each time the guard absorbs a strike. The more you block, the weaker the guard becomes
- Absorbing many straight strikes exposes the guard to round attacks. And absorbing many round strikes exposes it to straights
- This directional vulnerability is intentional. Switching strike type exploits the block damage your opponent has already absorbed
- Block strength is determined by the fighter&#39;s Blocking attribute. Fighters with higher Blocking take less block damage per absorbed strike
- A guard with high block damage is unreliable. Strikes that would normally be absorbed start to break through

## Key Tips

Block Damage rewards fighters who vary their attack patterns. If your opponent is absorbing straights, switch to hooks and body shots to exploit the weakened guard. If they&#39;re blocking round kicks, shift to straight punches. Pay attention to the block meter, when it&#39;s low, the opponent is vulnerable and should be switching to head movement or creating distance instead of continuing to absorb. Fighters with high Blocking attributes weather the system better, but no guard is immune indefinitely.

How Block Damage Works in UFC 6


Body Damage in UFC 6 depletes Body Health and creates compounding problems throughout the fight. Beyond the immediate pain of body shots, sustained body damage weakens stamina management, making it harder to maintain output and recover energy. Drain Body Health completely and you trigger a body knockdown, ending the exchange on your terms.

- Body Damage depletes Body Health. The dedicated health bar tracking damage to the torso
- Low Body Health weakens stamina management. Fighters with high body damage struggle to maintain efficient offense and recovery
- Draining Body Health completely triggers a body knockdown. The fight doesn&#39;t end but the knockdown creates a significant momentum shift
- Body Health recovers during rounds and between rounds, but more slowly than Head Health. Body damage lingers longer in the fight
- Body attacks are often underused. Fighters focused on head damage can be caught off-guard by a body game that creates knockdown opportunities they didn&#39;t anticipate

A sustained body attack in UFC 6 pays dividends across the whole fight. Even before a knockdown, the stamina penalty from body damage limits what the opponent can do offensively. Target the body consistently against fighters who block heavily at head level, the combination of block damage to the guard and body damage underneath creates two separate problems the opponent has to manage at once.

How Body Damage Works in UFC 6


Head Damage in UFC 6 depletes Head Health and reduces the fighter&#39;s resistance to knockdowns, making each subsequent clean head shot more dangerous than the last. When Head Health reaches zero, a knockdown occurs. The severity of that knockdown depends on how powerful the finishing hit was relative to how much health remained, creating a spectrum from flash knockdowns to full stoppages.

- Head Damage reduces Head Health. Tracked as its own dedicated health bar
- Low Head Health reduces resistance to knockdowns. The fighter is increasingly vulnerable to being finished as the bar depletes
- Draining Head Health completely causes a knockdown. The severity depends on how hard the final hit was relative to remaining health
- A barely-draining final hit causes a flash knockdown; an overwhelming hit can cause a stoppage. The power differential determines the outcome
- Head Health regenerates automatically when head strikes are avoided. Creating distance or using head movement allows partial recovery without the round ending

## Key Tips

Head Damage creates a clear risk curve: the lower the opponent&#39;s Head Health, the more dangerous every subsequent head strike becomes. When you&#39;ve built meaningful head damage, prioritise power shots over volume, a well-placed overhand or uppercut at low Head Health can finish the fight, while excessive jabs at that moment miss the opportunity. Conversely, when your own Head Health is low, head movement and distance become your most important tools, not the guard.
